Tucked away in a tranquil spot, Olar De provided the perfect retreat for a peaceful and relaxing stay. The room offered breathtaking views of the surrounding valley and was comfortable and well-appointed. The owners and their family were incredibly hospitable and made us feel right at home. We particularly enjoyed the simple yet delicious breakfast and the convenience of the communal kitchen. The location was also ideal, with easy access to the Canon del Sil and a short walk to the nearby reservoir for a refreshing swim. The staff was helpful in providing directions and the GPS was handy for finding our way. The coffee in the morning was top-notch and we only wished we could have stayed longer to fully savor the experience. I highly recommend this hidden gem for anyone looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway.

The staff can arrange adventure sports, yoga, meditation and wine tasting. Boat tours offer a great chance to get on the water. I explored Sil Canyon and Balcones de Madrid. So many safety features, I felt like I was in a war zone. Enjoyed skiing and horse riding.
Safety first, no smoking property.

The surroundings were absolutely amazing, with a beautiful river and incredible hiking paths nearby. the hosts were very friendly and made sure we were comfortable. the breakfast was delicious and had a homemade cake. the breakfast room had a cozy cabin-like atmosphere. the window in our room was big, allowing us to enjoy the views even on a rainy day. We could also see the morning fog rolling through the mountains from bed.
The roads to get to the hotel were a bit complicated, but that's expected for such a beautiful and remote location. the GPS took us on narrow, single track roads which made the journey a bit nerve-wracking.
